請問721基金會是由甚麼人組成？運作模式是怎樣？Who are the founder and the Non-Voting Affiliates of 721 Foundation? How does the operation model work?

721基金會是在美國特拉華州註册的非牟利組織，創始人主要是良心翻譯公司老闆，初創企業家，商業顧問及其他專業人士。全部都是黄絲。運作模式有點似社企，所有721基金會的資產包括銀行戶口都是以721基金會名義持有。我們的法定名稱是721 Foundation (721基金會)，有關721基金會的註册記錄可在美國特拉華州公司註冊處公眾查冊網查閱。

721 Foundation is a nonprofit, nonstock corporation registered in the State of Delaware, the United States. The founders are mainly owners of translation companies, entrepreneurs of start-ups, business consultants and other professionals. All of them are ‘yellow ribbons’ (pro-democracy faction). The operation mode is sort of a social enterprise. All assets from 721 Foundation, including bank accounts, are held in the name of 721 Foundation. Our legal name is 721 Foundation, and the registration record of the foundation can be found on the entity search of Division of Corporations in Delaware.

Meanwhile, we are now preparing to apply as a 501(c)(3) organization of the Internal Revenue Service in the United States. Upon completion of the application, you can also refer to the name of the person in charge of 721 Foundation and the financial information of the foundation through public search on Internal Revenue Service.



請問為何你們只接受美元？Why does the foundation only accept US dollar?

因為我們的銀行戶口在美國，所以所有款項都用美元計算，方便日後核數。 Since our bank account is in the United States, all transactions are calculated in US dollars to facilitate audits in future.



請問你們收支票嗎？Do you accept cheque?

我們是可以接受支票，但只接受由美國的銀行發出的支票。如果大家沒有美國的銀行戶口/美國的銀行支票戶口，可使用信用卡或者國際匯款。由於國際匯款涉及一些手續費，所以我們會建議使用信用卡。 We only accept cheques issued by banks in the United States. If you do not have a US bank account, you can use credit cards or international wire transfer. Since international wire transfer involve some administrative fees, we recommend the use of credit cards.



請問捐款去你們的銀行戶口安全嗎？Is it safe to donate to your bank account?

大家放心捐款，我們的銀行戶口在美國，受美國法律保護，有FDIC存款保障。我們銀行戶口的FDIC存款保障上限是25萬美元(即約港幣195萬)，到目前為止，我們銀行戶口尚未超過存款保障上限，若超過，我們會再找其他有存款保障的銀行確保捐款安全。

Don't worry it ! Our bank account is in the United States, which is protected by the law of the United States and FDIC insured. Our bank account is insured up to the FDIC limit that is 250,000 US dollars (i.e. approximately 1.95 million Hong Kong dollars). Up until now, our bank account has not exceeded the deposit protection limit. If it exceeds, we will find other banks with deposit protection to ensure the safety of donations.



請問除了「和你譯」，你們還有甚麼項目支援手足？Apart from ‘Freedom Translators’, What other projects do you have to support Hong Kong protestors?

除了「和你譯」，我們還有「手足市集」，我們還會陸續推出一些支援手足的計劃。請密切留意我們的網站，Facebook 和telegram 。

In addition to "Freedom Translators", we also have "Talents Market", and we will gradually launch other programmes to support them. Please always follow our website, Facebook and Telegram.



721基金會的成立目的是甚麼？What is the purpose of 721 Foundation?

721基金會的成立目的有三個，第一，推動香港的民主人權發展; 第二，為香港警察暴力的受害者提供財政援助; 第三，可促進上述兩項目的事情。為實踐上述三個目的，721基金會現時有以下活動:

「和你譯」;

「手足市集」;

「721基金會香港政經研究團隊」;

「海外手足援助計劃」; 及

「民主獎學金」

由於實踐上述三個目的需要大量資金，大家有能力的請多一些捐款。捐款方式如下:

There are three purposes for the establishment of 721 Foundation. First, to promote the development of democracy and human rights in Hong Kong. Second, to provide financial assistance to victims of police brutality in Hong Kong. Third, to do anythings that could fulfill the above mentioned purposes. To implement these three purposes, 721 Foundation has the following activities currently:

"Freedom Translators";

"Talents Market";

"721 Foundation Hong Kong Research Team"

"Financial Assistance Scheme"; and

"Democratic Scholarship"

It requires a large sum of fund to implement the three purposes above. To support us, please donate as much as you can. The method of donation is as follows:

「和你譯」Freedom Translators

請問什麼是「和你譯」? What is ‘ Freedom Translators’?

「和你譯」是721基金會與良心翻譯公司GBOSLTD合辦的一個黃色經濟項目，目的是主要想請一些受反送中運動影響，但語文能力又很好的大學生或者在職人士，為他們提供中英翻譯的工作機會，使他們有工作，有收入。當然其他手足有非常良好的語文能力，想加入我們這支黃色翻譯團隊是非常歡迎。

現時我們這支翻譯團隊有10多人，90%的成員都是在本地的大學正在修讀語文/英文/翻譯學士或者碩士，有一些已畢業的，亦有數年文字工作經驗。大部份成員IELTS 9分滿分，都有8分。翻譯服務所得的費用會分拆成二部份，50%會給負責翻譯的手足，另外 50%會分給721基金會支援流亡海外手足的慈善工作。因此，各位需要請人做中英翻譯，可以電郵聯絡我們(info@721hk.org)。

良心翻譯公司 GBOSLTD現時亦都是我們基金會的創始成員之一，以義務性質負責「和你譯」的技術支援，日常營運及招聘事宜。

‘Freedom Translators’ is a yellow-economic project co-organized by 721 foundation and the conscientious translation company, GBOSLTD. It aims at hiring, providing translation job opportunities as well as incomes to college students and working adults, who are with high language proficiency but are affected by the Anti-Extradition Law Amendment Bill Movement at the same time. Others who have high language proficiency are welcomed to join this yellow translation team (pro-democracy translation team) as well. There are more than 10 members in the translation team at this moment, in which 90% of our members are undergraduates or postgraduates majoring in language, English or translation and the rest of them are graduated and have a few years of language-related working experiences. Most of our members score band 8 or even 9 in IELTS. All the benefits from the translation services are spited into two parts - 50% will be given to the member who is in-charge of the project and 50% will be given to 721 foundation in order to support their works at those who exiles overseas. 721基金會「和你譯」翻譯團隊和721基金會義務翻譯團隊有甚麼分別？What is the difference between translation team of ‘Freedom Translators’ and voluntary translation team of 721 Foundation?

721基金會「和你譯」翻譯團隊是做一些收費的中英文文字商業翻譯項目，所收得的翻譯服務費用，50%會給負責翻譯的手足，50%會給721基金會支援流亡海外手足的慈善工作。721基金會義務翻譯團隊提供義務的中英文文字翻譯，但翻譯內容只限於返送中運動和時事新聞。

Translation Team of ‘Freedom Translators’ is doing fee-based commercial translations of Chinese and English texts. All the benefits from the translation services are spited into two parts - 50% will be given to the translator(s) who is in-charge of the project and 50% will be given to 721 foundation in order to support their works to those who exiles overseas. Voluntary translation team of 721 foundation provides voluntary Chinese-English text translation, but the translation content is limited to Anti-ELAB Movement, news and current affairs.

"Freedom Translators" aims at hiring, providing translation job opportunities as well as incomes to college students and working adults, who are with high language proficiency but are affected by the Anti-Extradition Law Amendment Bill Movement at the same time. 請問會有其他語言翻譯服務嗎？Are there any translation services in other languages?

現時我們的手足大部份都是精於中英文翻譯，所以暫時只能提供中英文翻譯。

At present, most of our translators are proficient in Chinese-English translation, therefore, we can only provide Chinese-English translation for the time being.



「手足市集」Talents Market

請問什麼是「手足市集」? What is ‘Talents Market’?

「手足市集」是我們721基金會第二個支援海內外手足就業的慈善項目。參加「手足市集」的手足可根據自己的經驗和能力自行決定服務內容和定價。現時「手足市集」主要提供各類設計服務，例如logo設計，卡片設計，海報設計，網站設計等。我們721基金會只是提供一個溝通的平台，使手足可接觸到潛在的良心客戶，721基金會並不會參與良心客戶與手足之間的協議。為了使海內外的手足，可以近乎100%取得良心客戶的服務費，我們721基金會只會從每次交易中，收取港幣10元作營運費。

Apart from ‘Freedom Translators’, ‘Talents Market’ is the second charity project by 721 Foundation to provide job opportunities to overseas and local ‘Sau Zuk’ (Hong Kong pro-democracy protesters). ‘Sau Zuk’ who participate in ‘Talents Market’ aka ‘Sau Zuk Market’ can decide the contents of services and pricing according to their own experiences, abilities and skills. At present, ‘Talents Market’ mainly provides a wide variety of design services, such as logo design, card design, poster design, website design, etc. 721 Foundation only provides a communication platform so that ‘Sau Zuk’ can reach potential conscientious clients. 721 Foundation does not get involved in the agreement between conscientious clients and ’Sau Zuk’. In order to enable the local and overseas ‘Sau Zuk’ to obtain nearly 100% of the service fees from conscientious clients, 721 Foundation will only charge HK$10 as operating fee from each transaction.
